Our laboratory proposes:

  • Implementation of special mechanical-thermal treatment for metals and alloys comprising stages deformation under cryogenic conditions, aimed at creating submicrodispersive and nanometric structures to ensure high strength while maintaining a reserve of plasticity.
  • Implementation of relaxational ultrasonic and magnetic processing of structural materials and welded connections to reduce internal stresses and improve the mechanical characteristics.
  • Carry out comprehensive study of mechanical, electro-physical, elastic and damping characteristics of metals and alloys in different structural states at temperatures 4,2-1000 K.
  • Analysis of processes and mechanisms changing structure and properties of materials under deformation, radiation and magnetic influences.
