Methods of the laboratory of electron-microscopic investigations of the structure of irradiated materials

  • Determination of qualitative and quantitative chemical composition of specimens in weight and atomic percents;
  • Obtaining of information on all types of defects of crystalline structure: dislocations, disclinations, twins, phases, voids and other;
  • Obtaining of information about structure produced under different phase transformations and deformation: size, morphology, orientation, composition, crystalline structure and other defects;
  • Images of surface obtained with high resolution: regime SEI, Topo, Compo;
  • Analysis of distribution of elements along line;
  • Charting of distribution of predetermined elements (map compilation);
  • Accelerator ESUVI with device of ions guide and hollow source of gaseous ions of magnetron type, which allows irradiate structural materials by heavy ions and also by ions of gas.
