CURRICULUM VITAE of Dmytro V. Soroka Date and place of birth: June 5, 1971; Donetsk, Ukraine, USSR. Name and Address of Permanent Institute: Institute of High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics, National Science Center "Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology" (KIPT), Akademicheskaya Street 1, 61108 Kharkov, Ukraine Tel: 38 (057) 3356 371, Fax: 38 (057) 3353 731 E-mail: dsoroka@kipt.kharkov.ua Present position: Junior scientific researcher University Education: 1988--1994 Undergraduate student, Department of Physics and Technology, Kharkov State University, Kharkov, Ukraine Field of Research: i) Computer simulations of physics processes within the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) Project (CERN) in the proton-proton collisions at the Large Hardron Collider (LHC, CERN) energy. ii) System administering of the NSC KIPT specialized Linux cluster constructed to conduct computing activities on CMS physics, programming and performing the installation, upgrade and configuring of the sotware (including Grid middleware) that is currently used for the CMS Monte Carlo event production. iii) Theory of elementary particles, quantum field theory and, in particular, applications of symmetry principles to elementary particle physics. Main results obtained include: [2001] The first stage of the NSC KIPT specialized cluster to perform computing activities on CMS simulations and data processing has been completed. [2002] Development of the NSC KIPT cluster and participation of KIPT/CMS Group in the Summer_02 CMS Monte-Carlo event production run. [2003] Further development of the NSC KIPT cluster, integration as a part of Moscow distributed Regional Center (Tier-2), and generation of 200000 events during CMS Pre-Challenge Production (Jul.-Dec.03). [2004] Installation of the LHC Computing Grid middleware (ver. LCG-2_2_0) that supports the CE, WN, SE, and UI functions for the KIPT CMS Linux Cluster nodes. Another field of my activities is related with elementary particle physics. Main results obtained in this field are: [2000] Linear odd Poisson bracket on Grassmann algebra was studied. [2001] Supersymmetric D=1, N=1 model with Grassmann-odd Lagrangian was constructed. [2002] I investigate properties of even and odd Poisson brackets and their mutual relations with the help of the exterior differential in superspace. In particular, I study the linear even and odd brackets in superspace, corresponding to a semi-simple Lie group. [2003] The Schouten-Nijenhuis bracket was generalized for the superspace case and for the Poisson bracket of diverse Grassman parity.
