This method allows to lower considerably the charge of expensive metals ( up to 80 %), increase durability of products, receive composites with the improved characteristics.

THE METHOD

The package of plates executed , from diverse metals or alloys is heated up, rolled and cools down in conditions of vacuum. Between them the strong metallurgical connection is established (i.e. the welded connection of diverse metals is formed) during passage of welded plates through the center of deformation. The vacuum rolling mills or vacuum rolling-welding plant are used for realization of the method.

FEATURES OF THE METHOD
  • Owing to elimination of intensive oxidation and absence of melting of welded metals, the durability of layers connection does not concede to durability of metals.
  • The VHR method allows to receive welded connection even of conventionally nonwelded metals (for example, copper + molybdenum, aluminium + steel etc.).
  • The spatial arrangement of layers and their relative thickness in a composite is not limited.
  • The metal powders, shaving, wire and also powder mixes of metals with carbides, nitrides and other not metal connections can be used as a raw material.
