Location.

The Conference will be held at the territory of summer rest camp "Evrika" of the NSC KIPT located just on the bank of the Black Sea 6 km apart Alushta .

Scope of the Conference.

The scope of the Conference is to present new experimental and theoretical information on the following topics and related areas:
  1. Magnetic confinement (stellarators, tokamaks, ets.)
  2. ITER and fusion reactor aspects
  3. Electromagnetic waves in plasmas
  4. Plasmodynamics and plasma wall interaction
  5. Plasma electronics
  6. Plasma technologies
  7. Plasma diagnostics
  8. Collisional processes

Oral and Poster Presentations.

The Provisional Conference Program includes Topical Review Lectures, Topical Lectures and Poster Presentations. The duration of the Oral Presentations (including discussions) will be:
Topical Review Lecture 35 min,
Topical Lectures 20 min.
The format of the Poster will be 70 cm wide and 100 cm high. The List of Review Lectures will be sent later on.

Post-deadline Papers.

The Program Committee will consider a small number of post-deadline papers. One criterion for acceptance is that significant new material is presented. Authors of such papers should send an Abstract to the Scientific Secretary, Dr. I.Garkusha, preferably by e-mail. The Program Committee’s decision will be made by the beginning of the Conference.

Audio and Visual equipment.

The Conference hall of the "Evrika" rest camp will be equipped with overhead projectors. Requests for any other audio-visual equipment should be made to the Scientific Secretary in advance.

Conference Language.

The working language of the Conference is English.

Conference Proceedings.

The five-page Topical Review Lectures and three-page contributed papers (Topical Lectures and Poster presentations) will be published as a Conference Proceedings in VANT collection (Voprosy Atomnoj Nauki I Tekhniki – The Problems of Atomic Science and Te chnology: Plasma Physics). Authors are invited to submit a file on diskette (3.5") during Workshop. This file must be prepared (preferably) in Microsoft Word (any version) for Windows without any compression. The diskette should be clearly labeled with the first author name and the title of the paper. A printed version of the paper is required also for a verification of the electronic version. Instruction for a paper preparation is done in Attachment 1. The Proceedings will be published 2-3 months after the Conference for distribution to all registered Conference participants and to libraries. The cost of this publication and its shipment is included in the Conference Registration Fee.

Registration Fee.

The Conference Registration Fee is equivalent of 300 US$ to be paid on arrival to the Conference. The registration covers accommodation and board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the Conference, coffee during the Conference, the proceedings and Social Program.

Registration.

Registration will begin at the Conference hall of the "Evrika" rest camp on Sunday, 13 September at 4 p.m. The Registration desk will be open throughout conference hours.

Accommodation.

All participants and their accompanying persons will be accommodated in summer wooden houses at the premises of summer camp in 3 min walk from the Conference site. The charge of accommodation is included to the Conference Registration Fee.

Social Program.

The following social Program is planned:
Mon. 14 Sept. evening Welcome cocktail party. Wed. 16 Sept. (after lunch) Sightseeing trip. Fri. 18 Sept. evening Conference dinner.

Travel to and from Alushta.

You are kindly requested to inform the Organizing Committee about your flight numbers, arrival and departure dates in the Conference Registration Form (see Attachment 2). Free bus (car) transportation from and to Simferopol airport (rail station) will be provided. The preliminary time-table of flights and trains from Kiev (Moscow) to Simferopol is given in Attachment 3.

Visas.

You are requested to provide your personal data and personal data of accompanying person in the Conference Registration Form. Organizing Committee will sent the Formal Invitation to the participants for getting visa to enter Ukraine in a few days upon the receipt of the Conference Registration Form from participants.
